Abyssinian

A new characterrr. Kizlar Ağası, the chief black eunuch charged with the protection and maintenance of the harem women. He's originally from Abyssinia (Ethiopia) but he was captured, slaved, castrated and eventually ended up to serve in the court where he slowly climbed up to the top of the hierarchy.

He’s third in the chain of command, right after the sultan and the grand vizier. Farzin, a vain and selfish vizier he is, constantly underestimates Kizlar and threats him like the rest of eunuchs. Their relationship is tense, to say the least. Eventually Kizlar gets his revenge.
