Aargh! How do you do this?! I can't manage to draw in a book, despite it once being one of my art assignments... Even if I don't care for the book or books, I can't bring myself to draw in it or them (I was raised sorta strict on only drawing on copy paper.) Any tips?
Hah I definitely have characters like that. I'm always scared my watchers will get tired of it, but thankfully if they have they haven't told me I love your Machete drawings though, he's such a beautifully designed and interesting character! I never get tired of seeing him ^^ I like the sketchy quality of the lines here.
I love seeing your art of Machete. He's such a cool character! I love his red eyes and his albino fur and that he's a dog that can become anthropomorphic and is a monk. His little pink nose is adorable, too. And in answer to your question, "Have you ever had that one character you never grow tired of drawing?" Yes. Yes I have. I have two of 'em. And yes, Machete, I will never grow tired of seeing, along with your other characters. Keep up the awesome, inspiring work.
I'm still waiting for a character that I might draw from my mind at a moment and I will never be tired of drawing it over and over again...But tho nice drawing and it's nice to see that you have found your fav character...I hope I will find mine too one day. O.n
I understand that feel so well it's not even funny. You're not alone! But Machete deserves the limelight, and I always love your scribbles! He's a fantastic character, and I adore him here in particular. That red really makes him pop, and the touch with his necklace in his mouth adds a lot of character. It's both amusing and intriguing at the same time. The background is awesome too. It really caught my eye, it looks so vintage and I love the look of it. Aged, sepia-ish paper with a foreign language on it? Yesss. Your style always delights and amazes me. I saw on your journal you weren't doing as well as you'd like, but just know you've got a fantastic talent that's revered by many, and you always seem like such a kind, appreciative, polite soul. I truly hope things get easier for you. In closing of this essay of a comment, keep up your spectacular, inspirational scribbles.
