Two Steps From Hell - United We Stand, Divided We Fall

I wanted to portray Machete with a character that has completely black fur, and since none of my canines fit the criteria, I decided to borrow the first that came to mind; Skaret, which belongs to the great ~InferorumCanis. He's been watching me for quite a while and comments my works often (and as wonderful as they are I mostly just fail to answer them properly), plus he has already drawn a couple of gifts for me (stunning, beautiful, amazing gifts for that matter) and I've never drawn him anything in return.

I had this finished somewhere around the end of 2012 and it was originally intended to be posted as a birthday gift to Inferorumcanis but do I ever get anything done at time no I don't D:

Well, as old and late as it is, I hope you like it~

Staedtler pigment liner and Faber-Castell colored pencils.

I am loving your traditional work Ghoul.
Is there a difference between Faber-Castell and prisma colored pencils?
I was looking into possibly getting some.

Aaa thanks! c:
Well, to tell the truth, I've never used Prismacolor's colored pencils. I don't think I've ever even seen them for sale anywhere in here. But I know some artists who have created some magnificent artwork using Prismacolors, so I guess they're alright.

Personally I've always been a fan of Faber-Castell and I think their products (especially colored pencils) are truly high quality.

Choose whatever you wish. Prismacolors are an American brand so they should be more easily available if you live in US. Faber-Castell is German, which explains why many European artists seem to favor it.

They fit perfectly. Just wondering why Machete's bandages are curling around Skaret's legs, he looks trapped.

Hmm, I thought it would look nice to have the bandages flaring across the picture. Making Skaret look trapped was not my intention :'3

I really enjoy the strong, bold lines and the color pencil!  The red of the ribbon is such a wonderful contrast to the black and white of the canines.
