Stephen Sondheim - "Opening title" from Sweeney Todd
Machete as a devilish cardinal. (Because men of god have so often been presented as twisted, corrupted and evil things and surely that cliché is too enjoyable to be broken). This was actually the first portrayal of him in this outfit and one of the earliest anthro pictures of him as well.
The sketch/lines date back to 2010, you can actually see the WIP in the first sketch dump that I ever posted. The whole thing was finished in 2012. It's a very old piece and been waiting in my files for a long time. Despite its slightly outdated appearance, I still consider it as one of my best pictures, a personal favorite of mine.
Btw, I borrowed that raven from this

Character and artwork ©GhoulShoeUuuuh, I'm still lagging behind with that comment business. Bear with me, people! I've been quite busy lately. A couple of weeks were spend on a summer job on a local cemetery (I love graveyards heyheah) and my high school studies were finished. I graduated last Saturday and had a party at our place and ate loads of cake. Yesss and now summer vacation has started and there's nothing but time and infernal heat outside. Seriously, during the past weeks, the northern parts of Finland (where I happen to live) have been among the hottest places in Europe. I heard it's sunnier here than in the Mediterranean.
Which reminds me, can someone just take me to Italy? ;_; I've never been there and I need to see the old buildings and churches and art and Vatican and everything. France would do just perfectly fine also. Damn these catholic countries and their cathedrals, we don't have those in here. No fine churches in Finland. Dammit.
