Khalag Tazi

Sharga, a female Khalag Tazi (an ancient form of Afghan hound) from the deserts and dry grasslands of southeastern Mongolia, the second of Chazaqiel's generals. She's a hardy and cunning little thing, excellent survivor in difficult surroundings and very low-key around his superiors. She loathes Kashgar because he's Chazaqiel's second in command despite the fact that she has been serving in the warlord's army longer than him. When life at the court started to get very uncertain towards the end of Chazaqiel's dynasty, she was appointed as Nineve's personal life guard, whom she treats like a little sister she never had.
