December 6th - Finland's Independence Day.
Regardless the comments yet to be replied, I really wanted to have this up today. Blue and white are the colors of the Finnish flag, so I thought this day would be the best time to submit this.
Like many other finns, I've lighted some candles, eaten lots of chocolate and watched Presidential Independence Day reception/Castle Ball broadcasted on tv (Linnanjuhlat, not sure what it's called in english). There's freezing cold outside, and the ground is covered with pure white blanket of snow. Yep, starting to feel very Christmassy here.
