This one is a bit older again, it was drawn somewhat eight months ago.
I thought it would be neat to try to apply Alphonse Mucha's way of portraying hair into canine fur. For that, I needed a character with long and silky ears, similar as Saluki's and Afghan hound's (at that time I didn't have any suitable oc's for that task, but now I do)
So I chose the first that sprang to my mind, *IsisMasshiro
's Nobara from her webcomic Invasion, for the sole reason that he's one of my absolute favorite characters ever. Moreover, being an old and mysterious chap this particular character fitted in a piece like this just perfectly.
I kind of like how this came out. It's not quite same as I originally intended, but not too bad either. I personally like the art nouveau-ish look. Blue glow effect is added digitally, otherwise it's all traditional.
Oh, and Serenata from Immediate Music
was a great inspiration for this, hence the title.
