Her legs are medium length and compact, her paws are small and round with short, white claws and black paw pads. The ears are relatively small and incline forward. The tail is curled over the back and the nose is black. She moves effortlessly and appears nimble and sure-footed.
Fur: The coat is short, straight, and plush with a thick undercoat.
Markings: Sumi's snow white fur is partly marked by black blotches of pigmented fur in her head and rear area. She has become known for this faulted, unusual coloration resembling of an ink splatter and eventually her birth name 'Katsumiyo' was changed to 'Sumi' (ink). Eyes are dark brown. Sometimes red makeup is applied to the face, especially on the corners of the eyes (inspired by geisha and kabuki makeup).
Clothing: In anthro form Sumi usually dresses in luxurious kimonos with expensive fabrics and long sleeves. The obi of her dress is usually tied in front of her so it can be opened and tied again easily.

For those who don't know her very well, Sumi appears as a sweet and harmless girl with blank personality. Those who've managed to peek behind the closed doors found out that's she's much more playful, diabolical and manipulative than anyone would have dared to expect.
