Wild Child by CanisAlbus Wild Child by CanisAlbus
Enya - Wild Child

This is Onóra, a character I created based on a design I adopted from the stellar ~Tazihound in last winter.
Onóra is a young female Irish Red and White Setter, though I suspect that she may have some Celtic sighthough in her bloodline. She's Irish, of course, and I decided to place her to a medieval period, somewhere between 13th 15th century. She is gentle, knowing and patient by nature, but very honest and tenacious too. Old books, stories and fairytales are her passion, as well as flora and fauna.

Staedtler pigment liner, Faber-Castell colored pencils, Stabilos.

I can't express how much I love this character, as well as this artwork. She looks absolutely beautiful, and her colours work so well with the pattern in the background. In my opinion, definitely one of your best works ^^

The coloring, the shading, the pose… I love everything about this drawing and I can`t wait to see more pictures of Onóra (medieval is such a fascinating historical period and I love Celtic culture)

I love the tones and colors! :la: The shading really brings out the muscle definition. :) Awesome pose and anatomy and I love your thick line art!
