A question for everyone from USA: what state do you live in?

Because it just recently really crossed my mind that unlike most countries USA is divided to states, quite many of them bigger than your average European country.
And they're immensely diverse in terms of climate and geography and whatnot. If you compare Arizona and New Jersey they're nothing alike but they're still part of the same country and that blows my mind.
If I hear that someone's from Norway it doesn't take much to guess that they probably have mountains somewhere within 300 km radius and they most likely have snowy winters. That isn't the case with USA.
I know this is getting a little personal, you don't have to answer if you feel iffy about it.
I'm just genuinely curious all of a sudden.
And how's the weather in there? What kind of nature you're surrounded by?

i live in oregon. it's weird and so is the weather (literally, it can rain and then storm anD THEN BE SUNNY THE REST OF THE DAY)
besides that its very pretty, lotsa trees too
